Join Appalachian Paddling Enthusiasts (APEs) for a cleanup of Reedy Creek. Once again, we will be working with the Kingsport Stormwater Division and Keep Kingsport Beautiful (KKB) as part of the annual Greenbelt Cleanup, which also takes place on June 1.

Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Greenbelt access parking area behind PetSmart (2003 North Eastman Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660) We currently have many strainers in the creek, so we will not be able to float. However, we will have a couple of boats to help us work around the strainers that have collected a lot of trash.

Plan to be finished 12:00 p.m. This will be the third times APEs have helped KKB with the Reedy Creek cleanup.
