Join Appalachian Paddling Enthusiasts

Whether you are looking to connect with fellow paddlers, learn new skills or explore the fabulous rivers and lakes of the Southeastern United States, Appalachian Paddling Enthusiasts (APEs) will expand your paddling horizons in all directions. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) that supports its members through classes and clinics, informal paddle meetups, river cleanups and conservation activities. Annual membership dues support our community service activities, trips and other events.

Annual Membership Pricing

Individual Membership: $20
Family Membership: $30

Membership Benefits Include:

  • Members-only events and Discord Server for paddle meetups.

  • 10 percent discount at Nolichucky Outdoor Learning Institute (NOLI), Mahoney’s Outfitters and many other outdoor supply stores (proof of membership may be required).

  • American Whitewater membership discount. (Email whitewaterik@gmail.com for our code once you join.)
