The nonprofit Nolichucky Restoration Project (find them on FB at https://www.facebook.com/groups/86814526808/user/61568718400120/) is hosting river cleanup efforts on the Nolichucky River twice each month. There is SIGNIFICANT trash along the Lower Noli, and they need help! This cleanup will be mostly land-based, and as weather cooperates it’s likely boats will be added going forward.
